Sept 12^th         Sabine Woods work day, perform normal maintenance on trails

                        remove less desirable plant species to allow the more desirable

Oct   23^rd        Sierra Celebration at Martin Dies State Park. Annual weekend gathering to                           

&      24^th              celebrate founding of the Sierra Club. Details to follow in next issue of

                               newsletter.

 

Oct   31^st          Roll Beyond Coal / bike ride. Join concerned individuals publicizing the

                                    need to move away from coal as a source of energy.  Location to be

                                    announced.  SC

 

Nov 14^th                   River cruise on the Neches. We have the “Cardinal” reserved from 12:30
