Here's the link to a video clip of a news story on KCEN-TV (West Central TX) about the filing
of our petition to intervene in the lawsuit against the Governor's fast track order on the coal

Time Out! Stop the Coal Rush!
Rally and Lobby Day February 11-12
Texas State Capitol, Austin
We have been very busy - like Christmas
elves - here at the Conservation
Office in Austin working on the coal plant problem.
TXU with the help of
Governor Perry was the Grinch that tried to steal
our peace.
No chance of that!
The Sierra Club has calmly
and rationally entered a contested case opposing
six TXU permits at the State Office of Administrative
Hearings
We've entered a law suit protesting the Governor's
Executive Order fast-tracking the coal plant permits;
and we are currently organizing a Coal
Moratorium rally and lobby day for February 11 - 12 at the 80th Texas
State Legislature.
We hope you can come on that day!
Every person counts and your voice matters greatly!
Transportation and lodging stipends are available if
needed.
Schedule of Events:
Sunday, February 11, 3-5 pm, Rally at the Capitol
