Cross Timbers Email List

The Cross Timbers group currently maintains an electronic mailing list for sending group announcements, timely news items, action alerts, and notices of additions to our website.  The list is open to our members and other interested people. You must choose to subscribe to the mailing list. Your email address will not be published or otherwise released and you may unsubscribe whenever you choose.

We hope that you will subscribe to the list so that we can keep in touch with you while minimizing our mailing cost.  

To subscribe to the Cross Timbers News mailing list, send the following email message:

Message: SUB LONESTAR-CT-NEWS

You will receive an automated email response telling you how to verify and complete the subscription process.  Once you are subscribed, you will receive a welcome message and other messages explaining the operation of the list, including how to retrieve archives of the past messages.  You will then begin receiving messages from LONESTAR-CT-NEWS list as they are posted.

Note: LONESTAR-CT-NEWS is an announcements only mailing list. While anyone may subscribe to the list, only the Cross Timbers Executive Committee designated editors may send messages to be distributed to the subscribers.  

If you have questions or suggestions, concerning the mailing list, please send them to the Cross Timbers webmaster.  We are considering creating an open forum mailing list to which our members could subscribe and participate in discussions related to the Sierra Club mission in our communities.  Please let us know if you would like to join such a mailing list.
