voting ends monday, november 9th...

This year, for the third time ever, we are encouraging folks to vote for the ExCom candidate of their choice via email. You can still vote the old way - by marking the ballot on the back of your November newsletter and mailing it to the address on the ballot, but now you have the choice of shooting off an email and taking care of the whole thing in seconds.

Here are the rules: you must be an active Sierra Club member registered in the Austin Regional Group (you already are if you receive a newsletter); you must know your MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. (It's the number just above your name on the address label on your newsletter - it is also on your membership card if you have that handy). You can only vote once (for one slate of candidates, that is) if you have a single membership, twice if you have a joint membership. (If you vote via email, just ignore the newsletter ballot)

To vote, simply send an email to this address:

SierraBob@austin.rr.com

and include the following information:

• the candidates of your choice (you can vote for as many as four or as few as one candidates - please use last names: eg.: Smith, Jones, Muir)
• your member number.
• The subject of your email should be: Austin ExCom vote
