Help our petition drive in support of recycling in apartments and condo units
Did you know that in San Antonio tons of trash produced by residential apartment units and condos is simply thrown into a landfill? Not only is this not cost-effective, but tons of recyclable materials are not being reused.
This has a devastating effect on our environment. Producing new paper, glass, and metal products from recycled materials saves 70 to 90 percent of the energy and pollution, including CO2 (carbon dioxide, that would result if the product came from virgin materials. Recycling a stack of newspapers only 4 feet high will save a good-sized tree.
Let the City of San Antonio know that recycling matters! Simply download and print a petition form. Gather signatures, then mail your petitions to:
