Overhaul of tree ordinance to be debated
Debate will continue on City staff's top-to-bottom rewriting of the tree preservation ordinance. Provisions to be discussed by the Tree Stakeholder committee include:
- Should heritage tree preservation be optional?
- Will the ordinance meet the 55% Edwards Aquifer canopy cover goals in the 2009 Urban Ecosystem Analysis?
